Do the bracelets come in large?

The bracelet comes in one size. They are a "standard" Medium range which fits up to a 7" inch wrist.

Is all leftover sand added to the public bank?  I would like to request my sand NOT be used in the public bank after you are done with my order, as the beach community is private and I do not want the name listed online.  Can this request be honored?

Accepted Answer

All sand samples sent in from individual beaches are used in the production of the bracelet. Sand is not reintroduced into the environment or used for other's orders.

Do you have any sand from Maui?  I am going on a mother daughter trip with my mom for her birthday to Maui and would like to have this as a gift, but couldn't send the sand till after the trip

We're sorry! The maker does not supply sand from Hawaii. It's illegal to remove sand from Hawaii, especially from national parks and Maui.

Does the seller provide any proof of authenticity that the sand is where they say it's from?

Hi Cynnie! The bracelet comes with a card informing the customer exactly where the sand is from. And yes, each sand in the Sand Bank has been collected by their community for preserving special, specific, “experiential” memories. This genuine and personal collection of Sand helps to authenticate each of the sands in the Sand Bank. They also apply a strict fact checking process to each submission that includes environmental and cultural factors specific to certain regions. Any questionable sand or element is not introduced to the Sand Bank.

Hello! The artist does not have this sand in her collection to make the bracelet with (which is also why we offer the option of sending in your own sand, as there are a lot of beaches!). At this time, we only have the many options listed.

Hi Janie! Follow these steps: Select Item-->Choose From Sand Bank (in either color)-->Personalize-->United States-->Rhode Island-->Sand Source: 2nd Beach (Middletown) and then add to cart!

Of course! The artist will send you a kit with instructions on how to submit your own sand. This can be done at your leisure, so take your time and seek out your best beach. The finished bracelet typically ships 2 weeks after the artist receives your sand.
