Celine Zhou discovered her life's calling one autumn in Paris, where she first encountered the flavors and textures of a certain tea cake that spoke to her. Back in Los Angeles, however, its equivalent was not to be found. She searched in vain, until she realized what she had to do: learn how to make it herself. Back to Paris she went and, in partnership with an experienced French pastry chef, experimented her way to the perfection she craved.
