You could say pottery is part of Gretchyn Notthouse’s lineage. “I grew up with a father who was a potter. I was always creating something. I would come out to visit my dad's workshop and squish clay around in my hands,” she says. A self-taught craftsman who designed his own glazes and even mined his own clay, Gretchyn’s dad passed along everything he knew to her. Today she carries on his legacy, crafting pottery out of her garage studio in Kansas and drawing inspiration from the world’s natural beauty.
